At ZipDrive, we aim to provide reliable, punctual, and safe taxi services to all our valued customers. To maintain operational efficiency and ensure fair use of our platform, we’ve outlined the following cancellation and refund policy, aligned with Indian transport regulations and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

1. Cancellation Policy (Customer-Initiated)

  • Cancellation before Driver Dispatch:
  • Free cancellation allowed up to 24 hours before scheduled pickup.
  • Cancellation after Driver Assigned:
  • ⚠️ A cancellation fee of ₹200–₹500 may apply, depending on vehicle type and distance already traveled by the driver.
  • Last-Minute Cancellation (within 60 minutes of pickup time):
  • ❌ A charge of 25%–50% of the total fare may be levied to compensate our drivers for time and effort.
  • No-Show by Customer:
  • If the rider is unreachable or absent at the pickup point, the booking will be marked as "No-Show", and no refund will be issued.

2. Cancellation Policy (Company-Initiated)

In rare cases of cancellation from ZipDrive’s end due to:

  • Vehicle breakdown
  • Driver unavailability
  • Natural disasters or technical failure
  • 👉 Full refund will be initiated to the customer without any deduction.

3. Refund Policy

  • Eligibility:
  • Refunds are applicable only for prepaid bookings cancelled as per our policy.
  • Processing Time:
  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. Delays (up to 10 days) may occur due to bank/payment gateway timelines.
  • Mode of Refund:
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment source (UPI, Wallet, Bank A/C, etc.)
  • Non-Refundable Fees:
  • Booking convenience charges and platform service fees (if any) are non-refundable.

5. Special Cases for Waiver

Cancellation charges may be waived in genuine cases such as:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Sudden government restrictions (curfews/lockdowns)
  • Duplicate bookings or technical errors

6. Company Rights

ZipDrive reserves the right to:

  • Refuse refund in case of abuse of policy
  • Modify this policy anytime without prior notice (latest version always available at www.zipdrive.co.in)
  • Take legal action in cases of fraud, misuse, or customer misconduct.
